2. Disabling "Error Reporting" in Windows XP


Does any of the application keep on crashing and every time helplessly asking for apology and then asks you to send the error report to Microsoft.



If you got irritated enough on this, then below are simple steps to disable it. We can make it by below 2 best to follow methods :

METHOD 1
------------
STEP 1 : Right click on the icon of My Computer then click on "properties" or press Windows Logo Key plus Pause/break key at the same time.



STEP 2 : On the arrived system properties dialog box choose "Advanced" tab.



STEP 3 : Click on the "Error Reporting" button placed on the button right, then choose the radio button option which reads "Disable error reporting".



That’s it. All annoyance has been vanished

METHOD 2

STEP 1 : Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tasks > Services or type "services.msc" at the text box of Run prompt.

STEP 2 : Locate the "Error Reporting Service". then Right click, go to "Properties".



STEP 3 : Choose "Start Up Type" as "Disabled" from the drop down menu, Hit the "Stop" button for "Service Status". Click OK.
