6. How to make your Desktop Icon Names Transparent

Got the selected type box around the name of every desktop item ?

Here is the simple steps to make it transparent.

STEP 1 : Open the system properties box by going Control Panel -> System or by pressing windows logo key plus Pause/Break key.

STEP 2 : Go to Advanced tab, then click on "setting" under "Performance" sub category. Performance Options box will open.

STEP 3 : Select "Custom" radio button, then mark the checkbox reading "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop". Apply. OK.
