Got bored by waiting for the Start Menu to come up ? Right Clicked on a file or folder, but option list is not coming ?
The default speed of the menus are pretty slow, but follow the below steps to make it faster.
STEP 1 : Open Registry Editor by writing "regedit" in run prompt (by bringing it with CTRL+R)
STEP 2 : Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop and then locate "MenuShowDelay".
STEP 3 : Right click on it, then modify. Put 0 in Value Data field (Default will be 400). OK and exit registry editor.
STEP 4 : Right Click on you desktop, go to Properties -> Appearance -> Effects...
Uncheck the option "Show windows under menus". OK. OK.
Now you will notice a significant change in the speed that start menu opens.
